Are you co-parenting? Are you going through mediation, separation, or divorce?
Parenting courses are highly recommended and sometimes court-mandated due to opposing views and heightened emotions between parents and children. The small group series uses discussion, telephone support, and workbooks to guide families through the steps of addressing individual parenting concerns. The groups will meet for 6 sessions once per week and then receive 2 additional one-on-one support sessions.
8 Week Group Course Outline:
- Create a stable, supportive, and happy family environment - Teach their children the skills they need to get along with others - Deal positively, consistently, and decisively with problem behaviour - Encourage positive behaviour - Develop realistic expectations of their children and themselves - Take care of themselves as parents
Course Features:
- Included 2 one-on-one private counseling sessions with an International Parent Practitioner - Receive additional Community resources and services.
