Ideally, all parents would love problem-free parenting. However, when you have a child with ADHD, this isn't always the case and the reality is that you need tools and strategies to navigate through some real challenges.
In this parenting course, we will empower parents by providing them the tools they need to work through those difficult behaviours that make it frustrating as parents. You will learn how to become an attuned parent and help your child manage their emotions by creating effective parenting plans. This program has been put together with research and studies recognized internationally, and it is recommended by RSW workers and practitioners for parents to study.
The small group series uses discussion, telephone support, and workbooks to guide families through the steps of addressing individual parenting concerns. The groups will meet for 3 sessions once per week and then receive 3 additional one-on-one support sessions.
